By default a resume lives only in your current browser (local mode). Turn on cloud sync and it’s stored in the cloud — pick up on another device, with version history backed up automatically.

How to enable it

1

Sign in first

Cloud sync needs an account — sign up / sign in first.
2

Turn it on in Settings

Settings → Cloud Sync, switch on Enable cloud sync. The first time, you’ll see a short data-upload notice; confirm to activate.
Once on, edits on this device sync automatically to the cloud, and any other signed-in device sees the latest version.

Reading the sync status

The top of the editor shows the current state:
What if I edit the same resume on two devices? The system handles conflicts and tries hard not to lose your work. ⚠️ To verify visually: to be safe, avoid heavily editing the same resume on two devices at once.
Turn off cloud sync or sign out and new changes stay local only. For important resumes, keep a JSON export as a backup.
