# Translate your resume

> Translate the whole resume into English, Japanese, Korean, French, and more — structure and layout preserved, only the language changes.

Applying abroad or to international companies? **Translate** converts your whole resume into a target language at once, keeping the structure, sections, and layout — only the text changes.

## How to use it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a translation">
    In [AI Lab](/en/guide/ai-lab), say **"Translate my resume into a target language"** (or click that suggestion).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the target language">
    Choose a target language — currently supported include **English, 日本語 (Japanese), 한국어 (Korean), Français (French)**, and more.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review changes → apply">
    AI translates section by section and offers it as proposed changes. Happy with it? **Apply to resume**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  After translating, **save it as a separate copy** (Duplicate on the dashboard, or [export JSON](/en/guide/export) as a backup first) — so you keep both the original and translated versions for different regions.
</Tip>

<Warning>
  Proper nouns (company names, tech stacks, certification names) can translate awkwardly — scan the result yourself, especially industry jargon and acronyms.
